Terms of Service
1. Who we are
Mattronome is provided by Horváth Máté, sole proprietor (egyéni vállalkozó, registration no. 62941576), Ferenciek tere 2. fsz., 1053 Budapest, Hungary, tax number 92464881-1-41 (“we”). Contact: support@mattronome.com.
2. The service
Mattronome is a web app for practising rhythm and time feel. A short demo is available on our website without an account. Using the app itself needs an account (email sign-in link or Google).
3. Free trial and purchase
- Free trial — every feature for 7 days, once per account. No payment details are asked for, and the trial ends automatically. It never turns into a paid purchase by itself.
- Mattronome — a one-time purchase of $10 that unlocks every feature for as long as Mattronome is offered. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
Prices shown at checkout are final and include VAT where it applies.
4. Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. You can buy without signing in first: your account is created from the email address you enter at checkout, and you are signed in right after paying. You also receive a receipt and a sign-in link by email.
5. Refunds
If you are not happy, write to us within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund it in full — no questions asked. After a refund the full version is locked again.
6. When the trial ends
When the trial ends without a purchase, the app keeps working at demo level. Everything you made stays on your device, and becomes fully editable again once you buy Mattronome.
7. Your data
Your patterns, feels and recordings are stored in your browser, on your device. Clearing your browser data deletes them. See the Privacy Policy for what we store on our servers.
8. Fair use and availability
Do not misuse the service, attempt to bypass the plan limits, or interfere with its operation. We work to keep Mattronome available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change and improve features over time; we will not take away the core features you paid for.
9. Liability
Mattronome is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
10. Changes and law
We may update these terms; for material changes we will notify signed-in users in advance. These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Consumers may also rely on the mandatory law of their country of residence.
